Candelieri Antonio

Antonio Candelieri received the Master Degree in Computer Engineering (2005) at the University of Calabria (Italy) with a thesis on “Data Mining in Medicine: application to the prediction of cardiovascular events and the prognosis of cutaneous melanoma”. He received his PhD in Operation Research at the University of Calabria with a thesis on “A Hyper-Solution Framework for Classification Problems via Meta-heuristic Approaches”. His research interest is focused on Machine Learning and Data Mining applications, adoption of meta-heuristics techniques for improving efficiency and effectiveness of Learning strategies, design and development of support services/systems based on decision models obtained through the afore mentioned computational methodologies. In particular, his research activity has been focusing on applications in healthcare.
