Short Bio

Paolo Napoletano is currently a post-doc researcher at DISCo (Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication) of the University of Milano-Bicocca. From 2007 to 2012 he worked as post-doc researcher at DIEII (Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering) at University of Salerno focusing on information retrieval and data mining. In 2007, he received a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Information Engineering from the University of Salerno with a thesis focused on Computational Vision and Pattern Recognition, advisor Prof. Giuseppe Boccignone. In 2003, he received a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, with a thesis focused on Transmission of Electromagnetic Fields. His current research interests focus on image and video analysis and information retrieval.
