The Google Summer of Code (https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com - GSoC) is open again.
This is a great occiasion for Computer Science and related fields students to interact with a major enterprise and contribute to a variety of "open source" projects. Moreover, if selected, the GSoC yields a non indifferent financial return and an excellent entry in the CV.
Besides the general program at the link above, within the Department, Prof. Antoniotti has been an official "mentor" for the National Resource for Network Biology (www.nrnb.org), one of the "umbrella organizations" offering specific projects to be realized under the auspices of the GSoC.
