Daniele M. Papetti and Vasco Coelho, PhD students in Computer Science at DISCo, received the “Best Student Paper Award” at the 20th edition of the IEEE Conference on Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (CIBCB 2023) for their work “Evolving dilation functions for parameter estimation”.

The Italian chapter of the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) has awarded Davide Cozzi the prize for the best master thesis in Theoretical Computer Science in 2023. The award ceremony took place on September 15, 2023, and the prize was presented by Professor Angelo Montanari during the 24th edition of the Italian Conference on Theoretical Computer Science (ICTCS), held at the University of Palermo.
