Professor Mauro Pezzè Appointed Editor-in-Chief of IEEE TSE

Professor Mauro Pezzè has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering (IEEE TSE) starting January 1, 2026. IEEE TSE is the most prestigious academic journal in the field of software engineering. This marks the first time that the same individual has served as Editor-in-Chief of both of the top journals in the field — ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology (TOSEM) from 2020 to 2025, and now IEEE TSE from 2026.
