Al Prof. Mauro Pezzè è stato conferito il premio ’ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Service Award, un premio annuale che viene conferito in occasione di ICSE International Conference on Software Engineering con la seguente motivazione "For service to the software engineering community for three decades, and specifically for his recent contributions to TOSEM as Editor-in-Chief"
